Calabria - great forests and imposing rivers, lonely villages and traces of a rich past: along the paths that wind through the mountains and hills. The four paths described in this book bring the charm of the landscape and Calabrian hiking to life from the North to the Coast of the Straits.

• Walk along the pilgrimage route of The Way of St. Francis from the mountains to the sea and those Albanian villages on the end of the path
• Road of Joachim da Fiore crosses the Sila River and proceeds around its’ great lakes.
• Further south, the Path of the Brigade is a real high road that runs along the Aspromonte reaching Serra San Bruno.
• Facing the imposing mass of Mount Etna, the stages of the English Path take place on the rocks and among the villages on the most arid and spectacular side of the mountains of southern Calabria
